
OLDEST AIR CONDITIONING CONTEST OF CENTRAL FLORIDA
ENTRY RULES
- The contest is for owner occupied, single family homes with central, ducted air conditioning systems.
- Entrants must be legal adults and residents of Florida
- Entrants must be homeowners and fully empowered to make purchases and home improvement decisions regarding their residence.
- Homes must be located within the Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service primary servicing area defined as Orange and Seminole Counties, Florida.
- Entries must be received by January 16, 2009 by 5:00 p.m.
- Entries may be completed online at www.rinaldis.com, emailed to denise@rinaldis.com, or mailed to Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service at 15264 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, Florida 32826.
- The contest applies to standard “split system” air conditioners or heat pumps only. There air handler must be located in a garage, laundry room or closet and the condenser on the ground near the perimeter of the home. If the air handler is located in an attic, crawl space or is hanging horizontally, you may still be eligible, however, there will be a minimal additional labor and material charge discussed prior to the installation. The duct system must be in good condition and properly sized for the air conditioner.
- Representatives from Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service must be allowed access to the air conditioner to examine the installation and record manufacturer nameplate information (model & serial numbers and dates) to verify eligibility for the contest.
- This is not a game of chance. The winner will be the one with the oldest air conditioner submitted according to objective information such as model and serial numbers, original installation or sale paperwork provided by the homeowner and/or the best judgment of Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service representatives. In the event of a tie, the earliest contest entrant shall be the winner. All decisions are final.
- The winning entry will receive one (1) new Lennox 14 SEER air conditioner or heat pump system up to 5 tons installed by Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service.
- The winning entry will be responsible for: taxes, permits, duct system modifications (if necessary) and any improvements needed to bring the installation in compliance with existing building and mechanical codes (any applicable costs will be discussed beforehand).
- The winner will be selected January 30, 2009 and informed prior to any media announcements.
- The winner will be posted online at www.rinaldis.com on February 6, 2009 by 5:00 p.m.
- The winning entry will agree to allow Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service to use images and likenesses of the old and new air conditioners and homeowners and the homeowners’ name in promotional material.
- The winner will provide Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service with 12 months of electric bill information prior to the replacement, 12 months of electric bill information following the installation, and release Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service to share this information and data with the public.
- Entrants will receive newsletters and other information from Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service from time to time. Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service customer lists or information will not be shared with other companies. Entrants can remove themselves from any subscription lists at any time by notifying Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service by mail, phone or e-mail of their desire to be removed from any lists.
- Entrants agree to hold Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service, its owners, agents and employees harmless for any injuries, loss or damages related to the contest.
- Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
- No entry fee or purchase is required to enter.
- Employees of Rinaldi’s Air Conditioning Service and their family members are not eligible.
